Tickd helps you track habits and tasks. This page explains what we store and why.
What we store
- Your account: email address and a hashed password (handled by Supabase Auth).
- What you create: tasks, habits, categories, ticks and values, daily plans and reviews, pledges and challenge enrolments.
- Optional proof photos and notes you attach to habits, stored privately and visible only to you.
- Settings such as your time zone and notification times, and push subscriptions for the devices you enable.
- Error reports from the app (message and page) so we can fix problems.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
- Your data is only visible to others if you choose to: a buddy share link (streaks and today's progress only) or a challenge leaderboard (your chosen name and tick count).
Where it lives
Data is stored with Supabase (database, authentication and file storage) and the app is hosted on Vercel. Emails are sent through our email provider.
Your choices
- Export everything as a file from Settings → Your data.
- Delete your account from Settings → Your data. This permanently removes your data.
- Turn notifications and the weekly email on or off anytime in Settings.
